Tosca (Topology and Orchestration Specification for Cloud Applications) is an OASIS standard language for describing the topology of cloud-based services, their components, relationships, and the processes that manage them. The TOSCA standard includes specifications to describe the lifecycle processes that create or modify these services. This makes TOSCA the perfect foundation on top of which to build automated service management tools.

Ubicity implements the TOSCA Simple Profile in YAML Version 1.3 of the standard. Ubicity principals are active contributors to various TOSCA initiatives.
